Purchase Terms
Draft for review. Not yet in force. Highlighted items are still to be confirmed before launch; the final version is shown for acceptance at checkout.
The contract for paid orders of the Robot Age Intelligence report and related services. Key clauses: delivery and the refund guarantee (3), what is included (4), your licence (5), refunds (8) and liability (11).
1. Seller and Contract
1.1 The seller is ROBOTAIGEEK PTE. LTD. (UEN 202548307K), a Singapore company with registered office at 51 Gentle Road, Singapore 309171 (“Seller”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Robot Age Intelligence is the product/brand through which the relevant research services are offered. [CONFIRM: brand/business-name position with the corporate secretary.]
1.2 These Purchase Terms, together with the Order Summary displayed before payment and any document expressly incorporated into them, form the contract between the Seller and the purchaser (“Customer” or “you”). If there is an inconsistency, the Order Summary prevails for product-specific commercial details.
1.3 By completing checkout after affirmatively accepting these Purchase Terms, you agree to be bound by them. Electronic acceptance has the same intended contractual effect as written acceptance, subject to applicable law.
2. Order, Price, Taxes and Payment
2.1 The Order Summary will identify the product/edition, licence or authorised-user count, total price, currency, tax treatment, delivery date or deadline, and applicable service period.
2.2 For the current presale, the advertised presale price is US$980 and the announced launch price is US$1,800. The presale closes at 23:59 Singapore Time (SGT, UTC+8) on 8 November 2026. The announced launch price takes effect from 00:00 SGT on 9 November 2026.
2.3 The Seller is not registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Singapore, so no GST is charged and the price displayed is the total payable. If the Seller becomes GST-registered, the Order Summary will show any GST before payment.
2.4 Payment is due when the order is accepted. Payment may be processed by the payment provider identified at checkout. Use of a payment provider does not imply that the provider endorses the research or guarantees its contents.
3. Presale and Delivery
3.1 A presale order is an advance purchase of a digital publication and related services scheduled for launch on 9 November 2026. Presale does not by itself give earlier access than the scheduled launch.
3.2 We will provide the launch report by the delivery method stated in your Order Summary, which may be a secure download link or another electronic delivery method sent to the email address associated with the order.
3.3 if we have not made the launch report available to you by 23:59 SGT on 9 November 2026, we will initiate a full refund of the presale payment to the original payment method within five Singapore business days. Bank/payment-provider posting time may be longer. This guarantee does not limit mandatory legal rights.
3.4 If delivery fails because an email is rejected, filtered or entered incorrectly, contact info@robotaigeek.com. We will use reasonable efforts to resend or provide another access route. A delivery failure caused solely by an incorrect customer email does not by itself mean that the report was not released, but we will not use this clause to defeat the express launch-delay refund guarantee.
4. Included Services and Service Period
4.1 Your purchase includes only the items listed in the Order Summary. The proposed launch package may include the searchable launch PDF, one report update six months after launch (9 May 2027), industry news and briefings, and database access; the final scope must be confirmed before publication.
4.2 For presale and launch-day orders, the proposed service period is 9 November 2026 to 8 November 2027. Later orders will use the service period stated in their Order Summary.
4.3 We will not materially reduce a paid package retrospectively. Changes to future offers do not change an already accepted order.
4.4 One report update is provided six months after launch, on 9 May 2027. Orders do not renew automatically. [CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: meaning of “daily”; database entitlements.]
5. Licence and Authorised Users
5.1 On payment, we grant the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased materials internally for the Customer’s own business, professional, research or educational purposes, subject to the authorised-user scope shown in the Order Summary.
5.2 “Authorised Users” means the individual purchaser and/or the number of named users within the purchasing legal entity shown in the Order Summary. Affiliates, parent/subsidiary entities, external clients and the public are not Authorised Users unless expressly included in the Order Summary.
5.3 You may retain report PDFs lawfully supplied during your licence period for continuing internal reference. Access to online databases, briefings and account-based services ends at the end of the stated service period unless renewed or extended in writing.
5.4 You must not, except as permitted by law or expressly authorised in writing: resell, sublicense, publicly post, distribute outside the licensed group, remove copyright notices, create a competing database by systematic extraction, share user credentials, or make substantial content available through a public repository or public AI system.
5.5 Reasonable quotations with attribution and other uses permitted by applicable law are not prohibited. Third-party content remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.
5.6 [CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: whether licensed private enterprise-AI/RAG use is permitted and any technical/contractual conditions.]
6. Accounts, Databases and Acceptable Use
6.1 Account credentials are personal to the authorised user and must be kept secure. You are responsible for reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access through your credentials.
6.2 You must not use bots, automated scraping, crawling, bulk-export tools or other automated means to extract database content except where we expressly permit that functionality.
6.3 You must not attempt to bypass access controls, probe security, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or use the service unlawfully.
6.4 We may suspend affected account access where reasonably necessary to address security, suspected credential sharing, material licence breach or unlawful use. Where practicable, we will notify the Customer and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue.
7. Research Nature, Sources and Corrections
7.1 The publication, updates, briefings and database are general industry research. They do not take account of your individual objectives, financial situation or particular needs and are not personalised investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice.
7.2 Nothing in the Services is intended as a guarantee of any investment, procurement, commercial, operational or other outcome. Historical results, market trends and past performance do not predict or guarantee future results. Forecasts, valuations, scenarios and estimates depend on assumptions and may differ materially from actual outcomes.
7.3 We use reasonable care in preparing the research. Third-party information can be incomplete, revised, mistranslated or based on differing definitions. Information and opinions are current only as of their stated dates. “Verified” or similar terminology refers only to the verification process described in our methodology and does not imply an audit, regulatory approval, product certification or physical testing unless expressly stated.
7.4 For material decisions, confirm important facts against the cited original source and current conditions. Substantive corrections will be handled under our published corrections/version policy at [CORRECTIONS URL].
7.5 This clause is not intended to determine whether any activity is regulated under financial-services law. The Seller must obtain separate legal advice where the actual publication concerns investment products in a manner that may constitute a regulated financial advisory service.
8. Refunds and Cancellation
8.1 The presale launch-delay refund in clause 3.3 is an express contractual commitment if adopted in the final Order Summary.
8.2 If you are charged twice for the same order, we will refund the duplicate payment after verification.
8.3 If a supplied file is materially defective or inaccessible because of our system, we will first provide a replacement or alternative access route. If we cannot provide the paid material within a reasonable period, we will provide the remedy required by the contract and applicable law.
8.4 Apart from the launch-delay refund in clause 3.3, duplicate payments under clause 8.2 and remedies under clause 8.3, orders are not refundable and cannot be cancelled for change of mind, before or after delivery.
8.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes any refund, remedy or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Except for third-party material, the Seller or its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the publication, database, methodology, text, analysis, graphics, software and related materials. Purchase provides a licence, not ownership of the intellectual property.
9.2 Company names, product names and logos referenced in the research may belong to their respective owners. Reference to a company or source does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.
10. Availability and Changes
10.1 We may perform maintenance, security updates and reasonable technical changes to online services. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, but we will not use this clause to materially reduce an expressly purchased service without the remedy required by these Terms or applicable law.
10.2 We may correct errors in the publication and issue replacement versions. Corrections do not constitute an admission of liability and do not remove any express refund or statutory rights.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to clause 11.1, the Seller is not liable for investment or trading losses, loss of anticipated profits or savings, loss of business opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or reliance on the Services.
11.3 Subject to clause 11.1 and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Seller’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the affected Order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total amount actually paid to the Seller for that Order.
11.4 Any exclusion or cap in this clause applies only to the extent that it is fair, reasonable and enforceable under applicable law. It does not reduce an express delivery/refund commitment or mandatory remedy.
12. Corporate Contracting Party and No Personal Recourse
12.1 The contracting seller is ROBOTAIGEEK PTE. LTD. Any director, officer, employee, shareholder, contractor or representative acting for the Seller acts solely in that representative capacity.
12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no such person incurs personal contractual liability solely because that person acts or communicates on behalf of the Seller. This clause does not exclude personal liability for that person’s own fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, criminal conduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12.3 The directors, officers and employees of the Seller are intended to be entitled to enforce clause 12 under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001. Except for those persons in relation to clause 12, a person who is not a party has no right under that Act to enforce these Terms.
13. Privacy and Communications
13.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which explains the purposes of collection/use/disclosure, payment and service providers, account administration, retention, international transfers and contact details for data-protection queries.
13.2 Transactional messages, account/service notices and paid briefings forming part of your order are service communications. Optional marketing is separate and will be handled under the consent or other legal basis described in the Privacy Notice.
14. Termination of Access for Breach
14.1 We may suspend or terminate online access for a material licence, security or unlawful-use breach. Where the breach is capable of remedy and there is no urgent security/legal risk, we will ordinarily provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy it.
14.2 Termination for breach does not transfer ownership of the materials or authorise continued online/database access. Rights to retain lawfully delivered PDFs remain subject to the licence restrictions.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
15.1 These Terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to any mandatory rights that applicable law gives a Customer and does not permit the parties to exclude.
15.2 Please first contact info@robotaigeek.com so that we can attempt to resolve a complaint. Subject to mandatory forum rights, the courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
16. General
16.1 We may update these Terms for future orders. The version accepted for an existing Order continues to govern that Order unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.
16.2 If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be applied to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions continue in effect.
16.3 Our failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of that provision.
16.4 You may not transfer your Order or licence except with our written consent. We may transfer the contract as part of a bona fide corporate reorganisation or sale of the relevant business, provided this does not materially reduce your purchased rights.
16.5 These Terms and the Order Summary constitute the entire agreement for the Order, without excluding liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
